The trail systems are open 365 days a year to ATVs, dirt bikes, and utility vehicles (UTVs). \u00a0Many of the trail systems also offer community connecting trails that allow visitors to access \u201cATV-friendly towns\u201d to experience the charm of southern West Virginia.<\/p>\n<p>The Hatfield~McCoy trail systems are Rockhouse, Buffalo Mountain, Bearwallow, Indian Ridge, Pocahontas, and Pinnacle Creek. With whatever trail system you choose, Hatfield~McCoy Trail visitors can expect to find a wide variety of trails ranging from easiest to very difficult. However, these are not your typical \u201cflatlander\u201d trails, and will be a challenge for a first-time rider. For this reason, visitors can opt for a list of ATV guided tour and rental providers.<\/p>\n<p>The goal of the Hatfield McCoy Trails project is to develop the very best trail system with an emphasis on safety.
